The Government of Sint Maarten is currently seeking professionals to join the Sint Maarten Tax Administration team and actively contribute to the development of our country. Our Tax Administration aims to provide efficient, effective, and customer-oriented services while ensuring stable and growing tax revenues.
We are excited to announce an open position for a Sectiehoofd Ondersteuning.
Core Responsibilities:
- Coach staff of the support services section;
- Responsible for daily personnel management;
- Prepares department policy plans and yearly reports;
- Responsible for computer system; and
- Takes care of the organization and operations of the Section with a strong emphasis on personnel and financial tasks.
Qualifications:
- AC level diploma;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Dynamic personality with at least 1-year work experience in similar field;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the Dutch language;
- Knowledge of the policies or execution areas of the department within the Tax Administration; and
- Experience with writing administrative processes and executing internal audit.
