Vacancy: Medewerker Heffingen Z en P

The Government of Sint Maarten is currently seeking professionals to join the Sint Maarten Tax Administration team and actively contribute to the development of our country. Our Tax Administration aims to provide efficient, effective, and customer-oriented services while ensuring stable and growing tax revenues.

We are excited to announce an open position for a Medewerker Heffingen Z en P.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Registering incoming documents;
  • Checking declarations;
  • Imposing/reducing assessments;
  • Administering and delivering objections administratively;
  • Data entry, archiving, copying, and purification activities;
  • Documenting and managing customer data;
  • Monitoring legal deadlines/expiry dates for processing tasks, reminders, objections, and the like;
  • Checking if existing businesses comply with tax obligations and alerting management if necessary;
  • Drafting statements, decisions, and other documents at the request of taxpayers and/or management;
  • Conducting various other administrative activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum completed MBO-level education;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Dynamic and entrepreneurial personality;
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Dutch;
  • Computer literate;
  • Good communication skills and customer-friendly attitude;
  • Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is advantageous;
  • Full-time availability (40 hours) for an extended period;
  • Integrity and a team player.

Salary:

Depending on knowledge and experience, the salary ranges from at least NAf. 2,478.00 to a maximum of NAf. 5,388.00.
