Vacancy: Hoofdmedewerker Aanslagregeling

The Government of Sint Maarten is currently seeking professionals to join the Sint Maarten Tax Administration team and actively contribute to the development of our country. Our Tax Administration aims to provide efficient, effective, and customer-oriented services while ensuring stable and growing tax revenues.

We are excited to announce an open position for a Tax Assessor (Hoofdmedewerker Aanslagregeling).

Core Responsibilities:
The Tax Assessor (Hoofdmedewerker Aanslagregeling) will be responsible for levying tax assessments, performing internal audits on filed income and business taxes, handling protest letters, and providing relevant information to inspectors for court cases.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess an HBO Diploma in “Fiscaal Recht” and have at least three years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of fiscal law, excellent computer skills, accuracy, integrity, and strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch are essential for this role.

Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from NAf. 3.751,00 to NAf. 7.627,00, depending on the level of knowledge and experience.
